Sierra Laird
Sierra received her bachelor's from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2022 and since has been gaining a variety of experience in the field to develop her skills and insights while pursuing graduate school. In her time working and learning, she has come to believe that architecture should be an intricate infusion of culture and innovation. It should be natural or beautifully unnatural. An expression of the disposition of each passing generation of designers. Most of all it should be about the people. The form should follow the function of the people who will inhabit the space and be carefully crafted to inspire the subconscious, aesthetically and manually in concert.
Sierra currently has a specific interest in infill architecture, adaptive reuse, and sustainable design. She enjoys exercising her creativity through sketching, watercolor, poetry, photography, and videography in her spare time.
